Boeing Statement on UPS 767 Announcement

05.02.2007 [16:44] :: SEATTLE, Feb. 05, 2007 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] is delighted that UPS has selected additional 767 Freighters to provide needed capacity and replace older airplanes.

UPS and Boeing are concluding negotiations necessary to book the airplanes and add them to the Boeing Orders & Deliveries Web site.

UPS has long been an important Boeing customer, having introduced the first 767 Freighter to service in 1995, and the two companies are preparing for the delivery of the first UPS 747-400 Freighter this summer. Additionally, UPS operates an extensive Boeing fleet and is a key MD-11 Freighter operator and 747-400BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) customer.
