‘Becoming a Travel Agent’ Webinar Kicks Off ‘YPS Webinar Wednesdays’ Series / Reiseinfos für Geschäftsreisende

Alexandria, VA – The series kicks off with ‘Becoming a Travel Agent’ (March 3, 2 p.m. EST), a panel discussion moderated by YPS Chair Jason Coleman, CTC, ECCS, CLS, LCS, DS (Jason Coleman, Inc.) and featuring fellow YPS members Robbi Hamida, CTA, DS (Nexion) and Samira Platter (Travel Partners), discussing how they became involved in the exciting and fast-paced world of a professional travel agent. During the Webinar, which is open to anyone interested in a career in travel, Coleman will share highlights from ASTA’s educational guide, Becoming a Travel Agent, sponsored by Sabre Travel Network.

“I’m very excited to launch this new series for our YPS members and future travel professionals. One of our goals for 2010 is to highlight successful young travel agents in an effort to promote the industry as a thriving career path. YPS is the new breed of travel agents, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to add our voice to the industry dialogue,” said Coleman.
