Air Baltic: Leonardo da Vinci Makes Historic First Flight

Riga - Leonardo da Vinci (the so-called Lucanian Portrait) travelled airBaltic route from Rome via Riga to Tallinn, accompanied by a group of scientists, art historians and officials.

10.02.2010 || Inlandstourismus 2009: 3% Rückgang bei Übernachtungen ausländischer Gäste
Nach vorläufigen Ergebnissen des Statistischen Bundesamtes (Destatis) wurden im Jahr 2009 in Deutschland 54,9 Millionen Übernachtungen von Gästen aus dem Ausland in Beherbergungsstätten mit neun oder mehr Betten und auf Campingplätzen gezählt. Das war ein Minus von 3% gegenüber 2008.

Latvian airline airBaltic carried overall 199,085 passengers in January 2010 (from Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn), representing 12% more than in the same month in 2009, when airBaltic transported 177,197 passengers
