Barcelona - Javier y Sergio Torres transport to Dos Cielos their passion for the innovative cuisine and the last trends of the haute cuisine with the freshest and of major quality products of the market.
Fusion of flavours and textures that mix different cultures which represent the international career of the Torres brothers has been the trigger for their award as the Best Restaurant of the Year.
The purpose of the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy is the recognition, the popularization and the Catalan cuisine observation as cultural heritage. With these annual awards, the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy wants to make official the recognition to those awarded for their work during the year in the area of each one of the categories. The prize-giving will be realized in spring of 2010.
The restaurant Dos Cielos from ME Barcelona had a great reception since its aperture in October 2008 as a result of the fusion of their refined cuisine and its spectacular sea views and the city of Barcelona from the 24th floor of the hotel.
